2 August 2012

Today we all managed to sleep in and didnt wake till 8am. Way better than all of us being awake at 5am. Dillon headed off early to London again. He said that he wanted to go and find somewhere to sit and write some music. Micky - one of my auntys friends, dropped Dillon off at a bus stop, and then went to Thorpe Park with Josh and a couple of her friends. Dominique didnt feel like going t Thorpe park again. So instead me and Dom went off to the market at Kempton Park race course. It was packed, and people well selling all sorts of stuff. I made the mistake of showing some interest in some jeweled phone cases. before i knew it some man had my phone in his hand and was fitting all sorts of different cases to it. They were really pretty but he wanted 15 pounds for it, and this holiday is about doing stuff together as a family, not wasting money on things. It took me a good seven minutes to get my phone back and get away from this man. I decided that i wasn't going to show too much interest in anything at the market from then on. They had loads of clothes there, but it was all for skinny minnies and wouldn't fit me or dom.
After the market I drove to where my nan and grandad used to live. The house still looked the same after all these years, but it appeared much smaller than i had remembered it to be all those years ago. I took a photo for photos sake.
Dom and i then headed for Hounslow as i had heard that they had cheap shops there. We headed there using gps navigation, which worked fine until the road was blocketo d due to an accident. Then it took us off on a big ticky tour. I didnt trust the gps but it got us there in the end. To Doms delight there was a store there called Primark {someone in NZ recommended it to her before we left). They had a huge sale on, and 60 pounds later, she came out with two paper shopping bags full of clothes - tops, shorts, dresses and skinny jeans. She was a very happy chappy.
When we arrived back at my aunty joans house, there was a huge teddy bear sitting on the bed in our room. Josh proudly told us that he had won the bear riding a funny bike at Thorpe Park. It is huge, and makes him look tiny.
Dillon took forever to get back from London. Half an hour ago, micky came racing in laughing. She had been sitting in nandos in Staines when Dillon approached her and her friends, saying that he had been walking around Staines lost for the previous four hours. He didnt know how to get to our place, and didnt know the address or phone number.... he was so lucky Micky was in Staines :)
